Gai Yang - Tiny Thai x Southern Junction Pop Up 4/7

Here we go again! Tiny Thai is teaming up with our pals at Southern Junction for a one-day-only epic pop-up dinner for two. Included is:

• Gai Yang (grilled chicken and sticky rice)

• Som Tum (papaya salad)

• Barbacurry (smoked, chopped beef)

• House-made sausage link (serrano cheddar)

Gai Yang means “grilled chicken” in Thai and it originates from the Northeastern Isan region. A popular street food in Bangkok, it is marinated in garlic, lemongrass, cilantro roots, Thai soy sauce, and fish sauce and then grilled. It is served with blue sticky rice and spicy dipping sauces. Also included is a healthy portion of Tiny Thai’s papaya salad, made in a large mortar and pestle - crunchy, tangy, and salty for a true feast of flavors!

Southern Junction will be adding in its Barbacurry, their take on barbacoa. Smoked and chopped beef mixed with carmelized onions, cilantro, and a house made curry blend. They’ll also be making a one-time-only serrano cheddar smoked sausage, and adding in the fixin’s including pickled reds and Texas-style charred tomato and jalapeño salsa on the side.
